e are located in
Bryan, Texas, (deep in the heart of Texas). Bryan is the sister city of
College Station, home of Texas A&M University and the Fightin' Texas Aggies
(Whoop!). We also own a small ranch near Edge, Texas where we and our
Labs spend as much of our time as we can. Our ranch is mostly dedicated
to native wildlife, which includes whitetail deer, ducks, morning doves
and many other species of birds. We also have two ponds stocked with black
bass, bluegill perch, and channel catfish. Visit our Photo
galleries for
pictures of our ranch.
We
currently own five beautiful yellow Labradors (yes...we're nuts), a 14-year
old female (Addie), our 10-year old male (Mason, from Addie's final litter),
a 9-year old yellow female from outside our bloodlines (Miss Kitty), an
8-year old male we call Tater (also from outside our lines), and we kept
one of Kitty's pups from our July 2011 litter. We named her Sapphie. And
I better not forget to mention Cindi's black Pug, Lu Lu, who loves to
spend time out at the ranch with the big dogs, We have a 31-year old son,
a 25-year old daughter, and an 18-year old son. Click on the image to
see our clan (from '07).
Addie
is our older retired Lab, but Mason, Kitty, Tater, are our younger dogs
and very active in both HRC and AKC hunting tests. In fact, Kitty has
three Master National passes, thus bears a MNH title and has earned recognition
into the Master National Hall of Fame. Our dogs are also fortunate to
be able to travel with me as we hunt ducks, geese, doves, and pheasants
across the country. Click
here for photos and more information about our Lab's.
We are very active in the Bryan/College
Station Retriever Club and love sharing our time to the many worthy
activities the club participates in. The BCSRC is truely among the best
in the country. Retriever Clubs can be found all across your state and
are a good way to learn important tips from others on handling and training
your Lab.
We
firmly believe in breeding only top-quality Labs for responsible owners
in need of good hunting dogs, field trial dogs, hunt test dogs, and the
best family pets imaginable. Our breeding dog's hips are certified by
the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), assuring you will not likely
experience problems with hip dysplasia. They are also clear of the CNM
mutation and not at risk of transmitting the deleterious gene. Brucelosis
tests are also performed on our female prior to each breeding period.
Our litters are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and we
abide by and exceed all the AKC guidelines for responsible breeding. |

puppies are smothered with love, handled gently, spoiled, and very well
cared for. All are whelped by an experienced group of family members who
know what to do and when to do it. The pups are sent to our Vet for their
first physical very soon after whelping. We put a lot of effort in assuring
that each puppy is individually cared for and raised in extremely healthy
and clean conditions.
The first few weeks they are raised indoors (in our bedroom, then our
study). As soon as they are able to regulate their body temperature they
are raised in our climate controlled "puppy house." The puppy
house provides a cozy bedding area with easy access to an enclosed outdoor
kennel. Your pup learns to use a pet door and is usually on the road to
being housetrained when you pick it up as early as 7-weeks of age. We
expose our pups to water and swimming and usually have them started on
retrieving birds. All Pups will be current on all their medical requirements
prior to any sale. We provide a puppy-package for all our buyers that
will help them through their first year with their new pet.
We
work hard prior to breeding to make sure both Dam and Sire have the personal
traits and historical background to produce the best and healthiest offspring
possible. This includes hips; we don't take chances. We stand behind the
health of our puppies with a 26-month guarantee against Hip Dysplasia.

We
hope you consider us as the breeders of your next Labrador Retriever pup.
We know you will be pleased with one of our pups and the personable way
we handle your business before and after a sale. We usually breed only
once a year, and our waiting lists fill up quick. Click
